This surgery is especially aimed at those people who wish to increase their pectorals but do not want to or cannot maintain a continuous physical activity to develop them. It is a very grateful technique as it gives the male chest a firm and developed appearance as if he had done several weekly gym sessions.
We use prostheses specially designed for men’s chests and they are placed through the armpit making a small incision, approaching the pectoral muscle from below to place the prostheses so that they are covered by these muscle.
It is a relatively short operation that does not usually last more than an hour, the post-operative period is comfortable and quick and in the operating theatre a special bandage is placed and removed after a few days and then a chest compression garment is placed to avoid inflammation and bruising.

The risks are minimal if a good surgical technique is used, similar to the risks of breast augmentation in women. The usual risks are the formation of haematomas or seromas or prolonged inflammation in the area of the implant.
Cohesive silicone gel prostheses are used. These are specially designed to be placed in the male chest for augmentation, they are placed under the pectoral muscle.
The results are very natural when a good surgical technique is used, placing the prosthesis under the pectoralis major muscle. Also when prostheses specifically designed for pectoral augmentation are used, which completely simulate a pectoral worked out in the gym and turn the male chest into a very attractive chest.
Whenever cohesive gel prostheses are used, there is always a risk of breakage, fracture or leakage of the gel. This is why we always recommend that in the event of any abnormal situation, you should always consult a specialist.
