Calf prostheses are used to give volume to people who lack muscular development in this area, specifically in the calf area of the leg. It is a simple procedure that is generally performed under general anaesthesia for the patient’s comfort and consists of making an incision in the back of the knee (popliteal fossa) for the placement of the prosthesis.
With the placement of these prostheses we manage to give the legs an adequate volume, eliminating the sensation of “stick-like legs” in women or “underdeveloped legs” in men, obtaining very natural results.

This procedure is ideal for people who have little muscle development in the calf area, in these cases they will go from having slim, “stick-like” legs to having legs with proportionate muscle development.
