Eye and Brow Feminization
Eye and brow feminization lifts the tail of the brow (the outer end, toward the temple) and restores its natural arch. Your brows sit in a more feminine position and your eyes look more open. Dr. Jesús Lago operates at Clínica 3 de Mayo in Madrid, for patients from the UK, Ireland and beyond.

Two Ways to Lift the Brow
If the only issue is a brow that sits too low or too straight, which is common in younger patients, we lift its tail through two tiny incisions. This is a brow suspension. If the skin of your forehead has also lost firmness with age, we lift the whole forehead through an incision along the hairline. This is a forehead lift. And if you are planning forehead feminization, that same incision already lifts the brow tail, at no extra cost.
We lift the tail of the brow through two tiny incisions hidden along the hairline. It is a quick, straightforward procedure. This price is for the suspension on its own: if you are also having forehead feminization, the forehead incision already lifts the brow tail, at no extra cost.

We lift the whole forehead and both brows through an incision along the hairline, running the full width of the forehead. It is done under local anesthesia and you go home the same day. The scar is longer than with a suspension, but the result is more complete. Forehead feminization uses the same incision, so the two can be combined in a single operation.

The price covers your preoperative assessment, the initial assessment consultation, the operation, follow-up appointments and, if needed, a blood test.
It is for trans women whose brows sit low or straight, and for anyone who would like higher, more arched brows.
With a suspension, the two small scars sit along the hairline, hidden in your hair. With a forehead lift, the scar follows the hairline across the full width of the forehead.
No. A suspension only lifts the tail of the brow, so the result may fade if your skin keeps losing firmness with age. A forehead lift raises the whole forehead at a deeper level and holds up better over time.
Yes. Forehead feminization is done through a hairline incision that also lifts the brow tail. A suspension is then unnecessary, and we do not charge for it.
See forehead feminizationYes. Both use the same incision along the hairline, so one incision is enough.
Allow around five days after a suspension and ten to fifteen days after a forehead lift. After that, you can ease back into your usual activities.
It can. A forehead lift, done under local anesthesia with same-day discharge, can also soften signs of aging on the forehead. That is a possible side benefit, not the aim: the purpose of the operation is feminization.
