Thigh Lift

The price of a thigh lift covers the preoperative assessment, the evaluation consultation, the operation and hospital stay, your follow-up appointments, a home visit from a nurse one week after discharge and a checkup at the clinic two weeks after discharge.

After a thigh lift, expect two weeks of near-total rest at home. Try not to walk during this time, because every step moves the treated area and pulls on the scars.

To protect the scars. In women, the incisions of a thigh lift lie close to the groin crease, the genitals and the anus. A urinary catheter (a thin tube that drains the bladder) keeps urine away from the scars for the first few days.

One week after you leave the hospital, a nurse from Clínica 3 de Mayo visits you at home to carry out the first dressing change and remove the catheter. We then see you at the clinic two weeks after discharge. Both visits are included in the price.

That depends on the incision pattern. With the short pattern, the scars sit in the groin crease and the crease beneath the buttock. With the long pattern, there is also a scar along the inner thigh down to the knee.

We keep an eye on it at your follow-up appointments. Poor wound healing is the main risk of a thigh lift, because the area is moist. A scar can also widen if there is too much tension at the groin.

It combines a thigh lift and a buttock lift, treating both areas continuously in a single operation.
