How a Buttock Lift Works
We remove the excess skin to lift the buttocks, and keep some of your own tissue to restore volume. Because no implant is used, there is no risk of rupture or of scar tissue hardening around an implant (capsular contracture).
We mark out two horizontal incisions at the top of the buttock. Rather than removing the strip of skin and fat between them, we keep it and fold it under the skin, where it creates the new volume. We then close the wound, lifting the crease beneath the buttock.
