The implants are permanent. They are made of solid silicone, so they cannot break or leak, and they stay intact over time. If needed, we can remove them.

Your face will swell a little, bruising is rare and you will see the extra volume right away. Over-the-counter pain relievers are enough to manage any pain. The stitches inside the mouth dissolve on their own; if they still bother you, we can take them out at a follow-up appointment.

The main risk is infection of the implant, precisely because we go in through the mouth. If that happens, the implant has to come out. To prevent it, we close the incision in several layers and give you antibiotics during the operation.

Not as a lasting solution. Fillers also add volume, but the product is gradually absorbed and the injections need repeating, whereas an implant stays in place. The cost is different too. If fillers suit you better, we can talk it through at your consultation.

Yes. We can place these implants during the same operation as forehead or jaw feminization, or at a separate stage. We decide the order with you at your consultation.
