Why do I need a compression garment?

After liposculpture, the compression garment reduces swelling and helps refine the contour.

Will the treated areas feel different?

Yes, for a while. The treated areas may feel different at first, but sensation then returns.

Is it the same as feminizing liposculpture?

Partly: both use the same equipment. In feminizing liposculpture, we redistribute fat toward the hips and body contours.

Liposculpture

How the Operation Works

The result depends on how much time is spent on each area, the cannula used and how much fat is removed. That is why the operation takes three to six hours: treating lots of areas quickly gives a barely visible result.

We remove fat with a vibrating cannula that glides through without forcing the surrounding tissue, which reduces bleeding and shortens recovery. The operation is done under general anesthesia through small incisions, with one night in the hospital. At the same time, we can reinject the fat we have removed (fat transfer) to add volume elsewhere. Afterward, you will need to wear a compression garment: this is essential.
