Is a lip lift right for me?

It may suit you if you have a long gap between your nose and lip (the philtrum), a flat upper lip, or if you want to rejuvenate the area around your mouth. It can also be part of a facial feminization plan.

What should I expect afterward?

You can get back to strenuous exercise after the first week. We see you for follow-up appointments at Clínica 3 de Mayo for one year.

Can it be combined with other treatments?

The Lip Lift in Practice

Under local anesthesia, we remove a strip of skin just below the base of the nose. Shortening the gap between the nose and the lip (the philtrum) lifts the lip and shows more of the vermilion, the pink part of the lip. The scar sits in the natural crease under the nose. You see the result right away, and it lasts.
