How Feminizing Breast Augmentation Works
On a chest with a typically male structure, the pectoral muscle is firmer and pushes the implant upward, so we create a larger, lower pocket to help it settle in the right place. Everything is done through the armpit, where the scar is hidden, so there's no scar on the breast itself. You choose your implants with the team, and you'll wear a support band after the operation.

The price of a feminizing breast augmentation includes the preoperative assessment, the evaluation consultation, the operation and hospital stay, follow-up appointments, the breast implants and, if needed, a blood test and an ultrasound.
It's for trans women whose breasts have only partly developed on hormone therapy, and for anyone who wants breasts on a chest with a typically male structure. We adapt the technique to a firmer pectoral muscle.
Dr. Jesús Lago uses round implants filled with a medium-cohesive gel, which moves with gravity like a natural breast.
Today's implants last a long time: they are stronger, with a silicone shell made of at least five layers. Even so, no implant is immune to rupture, so we advise having yours checked once they are around fifteen years old.
Yes. The manufacturer offers a lifetime warranty covering replacement of the implant if it ruptures or the gel leaks through no fault of your own. The warranty doesn't cover operating room or hospital costs. No implant is designed to last a lifetime.
No link with breast cancer has been established. Textured implants are linked to a rare lymphoma, anaplastic large cell lymphoma (a cancer of the immune cells), which is why France withdrew them in 2019. We only use smooth implants.
Partly: the implant can hide part of the breast, so a mammogram is often combined with an ultrasound. Repeated mammograms can also weaken the implant, in which case MRI follow-up is a better option.
Yes, depending on how you plan your feminization journey. It can be combined with liposculpture in the same operation, or done separately.
