How an Arm Lift Works
The further down your arm the skin hangs, the longer the incision needs to be. To plan where it goes, Dr. Jesús Lago examines your arms held out at shoulder height.
If the excess skin sits close to the armpit, we hide the incision in the armpit, often combined with liposculpture to slim the arm. If the skin hangs down to the elbow, we extend the incision along the inner arm, from armpit to elbow. The scar fades over time and is barely visible from the front.

The price of an arm lift covers the preoperative assessment, the evaluation consultation, the operation, your hospital stay and your follow-up appointments.
Stand in front of a mirror with your arms stretched out to the sides. If the skin hangs down to the elbow, the scar will run along the inner arm from armpit to elbow. If it stays close to the armpit, the scar will be confined to the armpit.
Usually, yes. After an arm lift you stay at Clínica 3 de Mayo for 24 hours. Depending on what time your operation takes place, you can sometimes go home the same day.
